Meals are provided Monday through Friday in the Lewistown area in two formats – as a congregate noon meal called “Grubstakes” and through our home-delivered meal program.

All meals follow the USDA recommendations for senior nutrition. Accommodations for special diets are also available, including diabetic and no-salt meals.

Home-Delivered Meal Program
This program is designed for homebound seniors over the age of 60. Individuals under 60 may also qualify if they are disabled or recovering from a period of hospitalization. A physician’s note stating that the applicant would benefit from our service is required to enter the program. An FCCOA worker will do a brief assessment of each applicant. The suggested donation for a home-delivered meal is $4.00. Our drivers start delivering meals at 11 a.m.

Meals are delivered Monday through Friday. (Frozen meals are available upon request and are delivered on Fridays.)

We are closed on holidays. (We do deliver special meals prior to each holiday.)

People who are over age 60 and not disabled or homebound are welcome at our congregate meal, “Grubstakes,” offered at our facility at 307 West Watson. The suggested donation for this meal is $4.00. Grubstakes begins serving food at noon.

Our meals meet one-third of the recommended dietary allowances for seniors.
